The Fire type is one of the eighteen types available in-game. Fire type Pokémon are generally connected to literal fire and heat.

Fire type Pokémon can't be burned by normal means, and some Fire type attacks can thaw the user or the target.

Daisy, the Vestyr Creek's Gym Leader, specializes in this type.
